Blake Kauer

Blakegraduated from Oregon State University in June 2006 with a degree in Crop and Soil Science. He currently works on his family farm in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Blake holds tightly to the verse “For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life?” from Matthew 16: 25-26. Along with this verse Blake loves the quote from the late Jim Elliot which says, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.”  These words that came from two radical men, one being God himself, has changed the way Blake views life and this world.
